Show you really care.


Do you care? Should you care?

Yes, yes and no.

Should you care about improving yourself? Yes.
If you don’t care about yourself, few people will.

Should you care about helping others? Yes.
If you don’t care about helping others, you aren’t making as much a difference in the world as you could do. Helping others is great for you – and great for them.

Should you care about loving your family? Yes.
When you get right down to it, your family is who is really important – and yet many of us will undercut our families, just to build up our work – and people who we may hate, fear, or despise.

Should you care about your future? Yes.
You should have hope for the future. It’s only when you have that hope for the future that you are able to wisely determine your future path.

Should you care about the quality of work you deliver? Yes.
Let’s leave the company out of this. You owe it to yourself to deliver the best quality you can deliver. Never settle for shoddy work.
Even if you’re the boss? Yes.
Especially if you’re the boss.

Should you care about what other people think about you? Yes – and no.
You should care about what other people see in you – because they may see something you miss – but you shouldn’t let other people dictate how you act towards life.

Should you care about your past mistakes? Yes – and no.
You should learn from your mistakes, and not repeat them – but you should never wallow in the past.

The truth is: If you don’t care about anything, you’re really not worth a lot to anybody.

People really don’t care about how much you know until they know how much you care. Caring people make a contribution. Caring people make a difference. They give to others – and to themselves. They have an impact. They have an effect for good – on themselves and the people around them.
